The Teamsters Health and Welfare Fund of Philadelphia and Vicinity is a non-profit organization that was formed to provide participating employees and employers with an affordable, comprehensive plan of medical and related benefits. Nearly 10,000 employees of several hundred employers enjoy coverage under the Fund’s program. In addition, more than 18,000 spouses and children of those employees also receive coverage through the Health and Welfare Fund.
